Pedro Antonio Villa and Lázaro Hernández Villa, two entrepreneurs who joined forces to found, in 1984, the company HERVIÁN SL focused, since its inception, to solve the problems of transporting refrigerated goods.
At the beginning of its activity, Hervian,s.l. focused all its efforts on the transport of medicines for, mainly, one of the biggest medicines distributor in Spain the Hefame Group. With Vicente Villa and Ángel Hernández, the second generation, the company currently has 5,000 square metres of office and workshop facilities. In addition, this experience acquired thanks to the high level of control and traceability required by the medicine, facilitated the possibility of expanding the services by specializing in the transport of any type of temperature-controlled merchandise and the outsourcing of the company.
In the words of Ángel Hernández, “We thought there was a business niche in this type of transport and we decided to go for it. There are no standard vehicles in the fleet. That is why we chose to work with SOR because we saw that they could develop vehicles that were 100% adapted to our work philosophy”.
Vicente Villa also points out that “thanks to the know-how of our founders and the experience we have acquired, we have been able to work safely to guarantee the supply of medicines, food and essential goods during these very turbulent weeks we are experiencing as a result of the pandemic”.
For this reason, at SOR and with the help of our Account Manager Antonio Puche and the technical team, we developed the LINK trailers and their corresponding semi-trailers to make the routes for the logistics centres and the SORPharma semi-trailers as well as all the semi-trailers for the national and international distribution of refrigerated products.
