Chassis Levante SA was founded in 1996 as a response to the need to develop a specific chassis for SOR refrigerated bodies. To do so, a joint venture with a Spanish chassis manufacturer was created.

In 1997, the activity began under the commercial name of LECSOR for the domestic market and SOR for the foreign market. In just one year, production expectations were exceeded, moving from an average production of 360 annual units to 680 chassis. At present we are set to manufacture around 1200 chassis per year.

With the turn of the century, the brand began to take hold and more than 50% of the SOR boxes were equipped with LECSOR chassis. The customer bet on the complete box+chassis set.

In 2005 the factory was prepared to adapt to the customer needs and offered the market more than 20 different alternatives of refrigerated trailers. They range from 1 to 3 axes, with directional or autodirectional systems, from 9.000 to 18.600 mm in length.

Finally in 2012, with a recognised and solid brand in the field, the LECSOR trademark disappeared to offer a single product: SOR Refrigerated trailer: box+chassis.

In 2016, the company became 100% part of the SOR Group.

“Drivers highlight the strength, robustness and maneuverability of our refrigerated trailers.
The SOR box+chassis set offer a more optimised tare weight. Besides, our products have a high residual value… without a doubt, an SOR refrigerated trailer is a safe bet by all means.”

“We work with leading brands, lighter materials and a wide network of after-sales service throughout Europe. We stand wherever your refrigerated trailer needs to be.”
